Administrative and Communications Assistant-Jewish Foundation of Greensboro

Jewish Foundation of Greensboro 5509-C W. Friendly Ave. Greensboro, NC, Greensboro NC

This individual works closely with the Endowment Director and team members to assist with marketing and communications, donor file management, events, and archiving.

Administrative duties include maintaining donor files, coordinating materials for mailings and meetings, assisting with special projects for development and communications. Communication and Marketing responsibilities include updating website, social media posting, creating graphic designs, spreadsheets and charts for promotion and events.
 

Primary responsibilities:

· Maintain donor files to include paper and digital information

· Archive records for digital retrieval

· Assist with correspondence and mailings

· Work with financial database program

· Assist with special events, seminars, other activities

· Help organize material for meetings

· Support team members

Marketing, website, and social media:

· Post regular updates including monthly birthday postings, event notices

· Prepare and send notices through website, using Constant Contact

· Post information on Instagram, Facebook

· Maintain website

· Create graphic designs for marketing, invitations, and social media

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum 1-2 years’ work or internship experience

· Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, learning new systems

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Attention to detail and accuracy and work independently

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and act with the highest degree of integrity
