Editorial Manager and Magazine Coordinator for Shalom Greensboro Magazine

Background:

Shalom Greensboro magazine is a free, quarterly publication of the Greensboro Jewish Federation that currently mails and distributes to more than 1,800 homes and businesses primarily in Guilford County, North Carolina. 

Governed by an Editorial Board of dedicated and talented volunteers, it’s mission is to give voice to some of the most innovative and thoughtful members of the Greensboro Jewish community with an aim of enriching the Jewish experience among readers in the Piedmont Triad area. The magazine offers an avenue to explore different perspectives, commonalities, and an appreciation of Jewish culture. 

Summary:
The Editorial Manager and Magazine Coordinator has dual responsibilities of overseeing the content and editorial aspects of Shalom Greensboro magazine while also managing the overall execution of the quarterly publication. The Editorial Manager and Magazine Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and Design and work collaboratively with the Editorial Board to ensure the magazine content aligns with its style guide and standards, connects donors to the Federation and the greater Jewish community, and adheres to publishing timelines.
