VIEWING THE HOLOCAUST THROUGH ART
Friday, May 6 from 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Register Here After registering, you will receive instructions for joining the meeting.

The Holocaust is often presented through historical events in the classroom, and many rely on Hollywood movies to embody those events with images. This class introduces participants to the artists of the Holocaust—eye-witnesses and 2nd/3rd generation artists who continue to “never forget” what happened under the Third Reich. Participants will learn how to see and interpret pieces of Holocaust art which will include post-Holocaust philosophical thought, then will discuss personal reactions to each piece through class discussion.
