Many women are told that the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause are “normal,” but the challenges that come with these changes can significantly affect mental and physical well-being.
As part of the JFS Mental Health and Wellness Series, this workshop will provide knowledge, strategies, and support to help women move beyond coping and begin thriving. Each session will include time for Q&A.
What You’ll Learn
Understanding Menopause: Dr. Suzanne Miller will explain the physical and hormonal changes that occur during menopause, share the latest treatment options, and discuss current research on HRT.
Mental Health & Coping Tools: Jennifer Becker, LCMHCS will explore the emotional impact of menopause, what’s “normal,” when to seek help, and how exercise can reduce symptoms.
Pelvic Floor Health: Dr. Cole Kampen will discuss essential topics such as bladder leakage, painful intercourse, and other pelvic health changes every woman should know about.
