ART-MAKING FOR THE SOUL
Monday, November 7 at 1 p.m.
at Jewish Family Services
Taught by Karen Dresser, Ph.D; MDiv
โAnd above all, remember that the meaning of life is to build a life as if it were a work of art.โ
-Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel
This is an active art-making class using old magazines, cards, wrapping or other textured paper, scissors and glue sticks. Participants will examine a few inspirational Jewish poems, quotes and songs, then create a torn/cut and glued collage that expresses their own desires for their โsoulsโ in the year ahead.
